    What to Look For

This 45-acre preserve may be the premier place on the island to seek migrant songbirds. A mile-long boardwalk navigates woodlands, and provides access to the "pond," which is actually a mixed-emergent marsh. A tower provides excellent views of the marsh, and a spur trail allows access to Lake Erie and a sandy beach. Located on the north side of Ward-Hamilton Road, about one-quarter mile east of Division Street.
